2007 State Fair Results
If you missed the ONGA nut display at the State fair it was excellent again this year. The space we had for the display was the largest ever. The number of entries was small, as last years crop was the poorest we have had in a long time. Check the list for all the results. The winner of one of the Persian walnut trees donated by Nolin River Nut tree Nursery was Kurt Johnson 308 CR 54 Richmond, OH 43944. Bruce Bauman again done a great job of judging the nuts. The youth contest went well, with over 20 entries. Be sure to have you children or grandchildren or neighbor kids save nuts for next years contest. All the information is on our website. A big thanks to the members who helped out during the fair, Ken Bauman, Don and Barb Cullman, Ray and Vickie Rusmisel, Roger and Jane Curry, Cullen and Nellie Pfendler Carroll Fogle and Joe and Amy Hietter, and a special thanks to Bruce Bauman and Carroll Fogle who closed up, while Bud and Marilyn were at the NNGA meeting in Ottawa Canada.
